ulrike and i wrote these songs in berlin and somewhere
in the south of france while the berlin wall was tumbling.
we went to the states to work with some big time producer.
what a desaster!
the guy wasn`t even able to remember the arrangement idea
he`d just gloriously announced a minute ago.
we never gave up and met susan rogers. she was busy, but
hooked us up with the band of wendy and lisa.
we ended up producing the album ourselves.
i have good memories of that, and loved every musician we
worked with, especially david daoud coleman. hope he`s fine.
