sometime in 1994 our deal with mercury records
came to an end. i was asked to compile a best of
album that included all the single releases.it wasn`t
easy. my choice of songs would have been a different
one every day. by the time mercury released this album,
almost a year later, i couldn`t even remember why i`d
chosen these songs. but i was amazed to find i could
hear the transition from sea of time to ha!ha!houdini`s
laughing as such a smooth one,while so many people
weren`t even able to hear anything at all but betrayal.
but rainbirds were always a megaphone of truths.

the bonus track on this album, is as strange as
trying to compile truth that`s constantly changing.
